The number of corona infections in Rajasthan has increased to 6.85 lakh. There are 1.96 lakh active cases in it. On Thursday, this figure can reach 2 lakhs. Relief was reported on Wednesday amid increasing infection. 64 days later, there were more patients recovered in Rajasthan than newly found corona positive cases. On Wednesday, 17 thousand 22 patients were cured. 16 thousand 815 new infections were reported. Meanwhile, the disturbing thing is that the number of deaths from Corona in Rajasthan is not decreasing. Every day more than 150 people are dying here. So far 5 thousand 21 people have lost their lives. On the other hand, preparations for the entire lockdown have started in the state. The government will take a decision on this by evening.
Today a committee of 5 ministers will submit the report
The cabinet meeting lasted till late Wednesday in the presence of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. In this, the entire lockdown can be imposed in the state from May 7 to the next 9 days. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has constituted a committee of 5 ministers to decide this. This committee will submit its report to the Chief Minister by Thursday evening. After this the recommendations will be implemented immediately. It may also include a decision to ban marriage arrangements altogether. At the same time, the Election Commission has also postponed the by-election in Vallabh Nagar assembly seat in Rajasthan.
Today, the train will bring oxygen from Kota to Gujarat
As of now, there is a shortage of oxygen and beds for Corona patients in Rajasthan. If the pace of infection continues to increase in the state, then by next May 15, 795 metric tonnes of oxygen will be needed. At present only 351 MT of oxygen is available, while 615 MT is required. Meanwhile, after the intervention of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, a train carrying 40 metric tonnes of oxygen will reach Kota from Jam Nagar in Gujarat for the first time on Thursday.
61 percent patients and 70 percent deaths in 9 districts of the state
In the second wave of Corona epidemic, 9 districts including Jaipur are the worst affected. The pace of infection is so fast here that 61 percent of the total infected corona positive cases are coming in these 9 districts. 70 percent of the total deaths due to corona are also in these 9 districts. These nine districts are Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Alwar, Udaipur, Bikaner, Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh and Sikar. On Wednesday, 43 patients died in Jaipur, 20 in Jodhpur, 19 in Udaipur, 8 in Bikaner, 7 in Alwar, 6 in Kota, 5 in Dungarpur, Sikar and 3-3 patients in Ganganagar.
Corona explosion in five by-elections districts
Recently, there were by-elections for the assembly seats in 5 districts of Rajasthan, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Churu, Nagaur and Sawaimadhopur. After this, there is now a corona explosion in the villages of these districts. According to the medical department, up to 35 per cent of new corona patients are appearing in rural districts. The situation is that in Rajsamand the number of active cases has gone up from 671 to 4760 in Bhilwara, 625 to 9157 in Bhilwara, 14 to 4033 in Churu, 189 to 1564 in Nagaur and 294 to 4479 in Sawaimadhopur. Of these, 200 new cases are found daily in districts like Barmer, Dholpur, Rajsamand and Pratapgarh. The condition is that oxygen is being given to the patients under the neem tree at the Kovid Center in the eye hospital in the Jaitaran town of Pali district. People coming from Madhya Pradesh are not being stopped in Jhalawar. In Karauli district, people are taking medicines on the basis of the symptoms themselves.
